Fact Check: Meenakshi Chaudhary As AP Brand Ambassador

Since yesterday, it has been widely reported in the media that the government of Andhra Pradesh appointed heroine Meenakshi Chaudhary as the brand ambassador for women’s empowerment. However, the sources within the government confirmed that there is no truth in this news.

Reportedly, the government initially considered appointing an actress as the brand ambassador for women’s empowerment but backed out from the plan now.

As of now, the government of AP hasn’t appointed any actress for this position. Meenakshi Chaudhary is a popular actress in the Telugu states who shot to fame with films like HIT 2, Guntur Kaaram, Lucky Bhaskar, Mechanic Rocky and Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. She is one of the top-tier actresses down the south who has many interesting projects in her lineup.

She will be next seen in comedy entertainer Anaganaga Oka Roju, alongside Naveen Polishetty. It is expected to have a theatrical release towards the end of this year.
