Sankranthi 2026: Five Promising Films In Race?

The Sankranthi race in Tollywood is always interesting. This year it was with Daaku Maharaaj, Game Changer, and Sankranthiki Vastunnam. It has been proven many a time that Sankranthi season can accommodate more films. The season of 2026 is going to be more interesting with promising films in race.

Though not official, five films are so far in the race for Sankranthi. So far, only Chiranjeevi Anil Ravipudi’s movie is confirmed for January 2026.

Anil Ravipudi is on a success streak with his recent film Sankranthiki Vastunnam emerging as one of the biggest blockbusters. Anil and Chiranjeevi’s combination is expected to bring on a hilarious entertainer.

Another big ticket film, NTR-Neel produced by Mythri Movie Makers is heading for a big release coming Sankranthi. However, it all depends on NTR’s other films in progress currently.

Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganaga Oka Raju is most likely to come for Sankranthi next year. Happening heroine Meenakshi Choaudhary is the heroine.

Raviteja – Kishore Tirumala movie produced by SLV Cinemas is likely to join the Sankranthi race. Also, Venkatesh and Surender Reddy’s movie produced by Lakshmi Narasimha Productions is planning for release coming January.

The release dates of the films depend on many factors and for now, these are the films expected to hit the screens coming January.
