Telugu audiences love for good cinema has once again been proved by Chhaava. The historical epic produced by Dinesh Vijan and directed by Laxman Utekar, released in Telugu, by Geetha Arts, last Friday. While the opening two days have been huge with Day 2 trending greater than Day 1, many predicted Day 3, to be effected by Champions Trophy Final.
But as India triumphed against all odds, Chhaava Telugu also sustained its momentum on Sunday, too. The movie collected a total of Rs.9.46+ crores gross in three days and it collected similar to Day 2. This showcases the great positive word of mouth, the movie acquired despite being a dubbed version.
Renowned production house Geetha Arts took it as a challenge to complete the dubbing works of the film in record time and their hardwork is yielding big fruits at the box office. Audiences are praising performances of leads – Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna and Akshay Khanna.
The commitment that the makers have showcased in bringing history of an unsung Maratha Warrior King Chhatrapathi Sambhaji Maharaj is garnering huge praises. With such phenomenal box office performance, the movie could create new records for Hindi dubbed films in Telugu market.
