Sivaji’s 25-year-wait for Success

Actor Sivaji seems to be on a golden streak. He was in the spotlight during Bigg Boss. Everyone thought that he would become the winner of the sixth season, but he ended up in third place. And then, he acted in a 90s Middle-Class biopic web series. Now, with Court also getting a strong response, he continues his winning streak. The success of Court satisfied the hunger in him to establish himself as a successful actor. It’s a dream that he has been living with for the last 25 years, and it finally came true.

Actor Shivaji plays a significant negative role in the film, portraying Mangapati, a relative of the heroine. His character, driven by status and honor, goes to extreme lengths, even misusing strict laws to file a case against the hero. Shivaji’s performance is receiving widespread acclaim. Everywhere on social media, it is Shivaji who is being praised for his one-man show.

During the success event, Sivaji got emotional, exclaiming at the journey he had so far. “It’s my dream for 25 years that people should talk about me the entire day. I dreamt of it on every Friday. I waited Friday after Friday to prove myself and today, it finally happened,” said Sivaji.

Sivaji is a proven actor, but he never had bigger hits to his name. Back then, when he actively made films, he was a minimum-guarantee hero. Later, he took a break from movies for almost 13 years. After coming out of the Bigg Boss show, he listened to many stories, but this character of Mangapathi stuck with him, and the end result today is extraordinary. Court will now cement his position as a successful character artist and would pose him as a potential alternative for many seasoned character artists and villains in Telugu as well as other languages.

Court was released on March 14th, and explores love and honor themes. Ahead of its theatrical debut, the makers held premiere screenings, which have received a fantastic response. At a promotional event, Nani even went so far as to challenge audiences—stating that if they don’t like Court, they can skip his upcoming film Hit 3.

Priyadarshi, who initially gained recognition as a comedian, has been making waves as a lead actor in the movie. Harsh Roshan and Sridevi played the main roles.
