Malayalam Megastar Mammootty is currently on a vacation and since he has taken a break from work, there were a lot of assumptions floating in the film industry that he is diagnosed with cancer. The shocking rumours started spreading like wildfire. However, we have come to know that there is no truth in the same.
There have been speculations that Mammootty set aside all his commitments and decided to undergo treatment for cancer. As soon as the news became viral, the fans and well-wishers started enquiring his health condition.
But, team Mammootty has issued a clarification saying that there is no truth in this news and the actor is currently on a vacation.
“It is fake news. He is on vacation because he is fasting for Ramzan. He is on a break from his shoot schedule as well because of that. In fact, after the break he will go back to shooting for Mahesh Narayanan’s film with Mohanlal,” stated the actor’s team.
Mammootty is currently busy with Bazooka which is releasing on 10 April 2025.
