Sushant Singh Rajput was one of the bright actors in the Indian film industry. The kind of movies he did always remained special and memorable. However, he ended his life during the COVID period but many alleged that there is a conspiracy behind it. After multiple rounds of investigation by the CBI, the agency has filed a closure report now.
According to official sources, the agency carried out the investigation based on two separate cases. One of the cases is filed by Sushant’s father against Rhea Chakraborty and her family. The second case is filed by Rhea, accusing Sushant’s family.
After conducting the investigation, CBI has now filed their closure report, citing no evidence was found to support suspicions surrounding Sushant’s demise. At the same time, the CBI report also gave a clean chit to Rhea’s family.
Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, welcomed the CBI’s closure report, stating, “We are grateful to the CBI for thoroughly investigating every aspect of the case from all angles and closing it.” He also highlighted the hardships Rhea faced, saying, “She had to endure immense suffering and spent 27 days behind bars before being granted bail.”
As soon as Sushant’s death news came out, the netizens lashed out at her blaming for his death. People accused her of introducing drugs to Sushant and blamed her for the death.
The investigation took place for almost four years before arriving at the closure. In August 2020, Sushant was found dead in his apartment in Bandra.
