They Don’t Respond To Me: Pooja Hegde on Nepotism

It is an established predicament that nepotism is a part and parcel of the Indian film industry. This burning topic is now addressed by seasoned actress Pooja Hegde, as she appeared to have a strong opinion about star kids and their privileges. 

Pooja Hegde revealed that these star kids have access to elite filmmakers right at a young age and this is a privilege that not many other actors have. 

“The kind of filmmakers that these star kids can access with their second or third film is beyond comprehension. I can’t even dream of collaborating with them while privileged. Kids can easily get their appointments and meetings. Many of these filmmakers, don’t even respond to me to this day while they are easily accessible to star kids.” Pooja said. 

The fact that Pooja openly said certain film makers, don’t even respond to her while they are at the reach of star kids perhaps comes from any real incident that happened to her in her career. However, considering that Pooja has been in the film industry for nearly a decade, it is strange that she still does not get responses from certain film folk. 

Recently, Pooja Hegde spoke about paid negative PR that is done by certain individuals against targeted actresses. And now, she has expressed some strong opinions on nepotism. It appears to be that she isn’t holding back when it comes having a go at the film industry and its dark side.
