Fact Check: Prabhas’ Wedding Rumors

The wedding rumors surrounding Tollywood’s most eligible bachelor, Prabhas, have suddenly resurfaced. Recent media reports suggested that the actor is set to marry the daughter of a prominent businessman from Hyderabad and will soon tie the knot. Fans were left surprised by this news. However, the twist is that there is no truth to these rumors. Similar speculations about his marriage with a Bhimavaram industrialist’s daughter were spread in the past, only to be debunked later. The current gossip seems to be more of the same, with no factual basis, according to sources close to Prabhas.

Currently, Prabhas is 45 years old. While most of his contemporaries are married, Prabhas has remained steadfastly single, focusing entirely on his film career. Even when his paternal uncle, Krishnam Raju, was alive, efforts were made to settle him down, but it never materialized. After his uncle’s passing, his aunt Shyamala Devi also tried to arrange a marriage for him, but those attempts too were unsuccessful. Unlike other stars who often take over a year to complete a film, Prabhas keeps himself busy by managing multiple film sets simultaneously, ensuring he has no free time.

So, until Prabhas himself announces any personal news, these rumors will likely remain just that—gossip. In the past, there were speculations that he would marry Anushka Shetty, which his fans believed for some time. Surprisingly, even after crossing the age of 40, Anushka too remains unmarried.

Currently, Prabhas is busy completing the work for Raja Saab and Fauji, after which he will start shooting for Spirit. Following that, he has Kalki 2 and Salaar 2 lined up. If Raja Saab becomes a blockbuster, a sequel may also follow.
