Telugu actor Ram Charan’s forthcoming pan-India film ‘Peddi’ trended nationally when the film’s striking first look poster featuring Charan in an intense and macho avatar was unveiled on his birthday on March 27th. This morning, Peddi makers teased the fans by announcing that a massive announcement will be made this evening as an Ugadi special treat.
And the eagerly awaited update is finally here. The much-talked-about first shot video glimpse from Peddi will be released on April 6th on the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami. Recently, Peddi producer Ravi Kumar of Mythri Movie Makers raised the expectations by saying that this particular shot would be watched by fans at least a thousand times. The announcement poster features Ram Charan taking a huge plunge, with hundreds of extras waving flags.
Peddi is said to be a village based sports action drama. Charan will be seen as an expert athlete of several native sports like power cricket, wrestling, and kabaddi. Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar will be playing Ram Charan’s coach in this Buchi Babu Sana directorial.
Peddi has Janhvi Kapoor in a lead role. The film marks her second project in Tollywood after Devara. AR Rahman composes music for this Vriddhi Cinemas production. The film also has Mirzapur fame Divyendu Sharma in a key role.
