Director Puri Jagannadh is set to helm his next ambitious project on a Pan-India scale, with versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. The film will be produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the banner of Puri Connects, and will be mounted on a lavish budget.
The latest update is, actress Tabu is making her return to Telugu cinema with this yet-to-be-titled film. The makers were on the lookout for a strong performer to play a crucial role in the narrative, and felt Tabu was the perfect fit. This marks her first collaboration with both Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Sethupathi. Tabu was last seen in Telugu in the blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
The film is set to go on floors in a couple of months. Details about the rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon.
