Half of April is over, and the Telugu film industry is yet to get its first success this month. After MAD Square, none of the new releases were able to do well at the box office. Last week, Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s Jack was released and ended up as a disaster at the box office. This Friday, there are a couple of big releases lined up for the release. Here is a look at them.
Odela 2:
Starring Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead role, Odela 2 is a mythological horror thriller and is a sequel to Odela Railway Station. Vashishta Simha and Hebbah Patel played the other lead roles in it. Tamannaah plays the role of a Shiva Shakti in it. Directed by Ashok Teja, Odela 2 will hit the screens on April 17. Noted director Sampath Nandi worked as a producer, writer and direction supervisor for this movie.
Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi:
Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi is a commercial action drama, laced with mother sentiment. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Vijayashanti play the main roles in it, while Saiee Manjrekar essayed the female lead role. Directed by Pradeep Chilukuri, this movie is slated for release on April 18.
Naa Autograph Sweet Memories (Re-Release):
One of the memorable films in Ravi Teja’s career, Naa Autograph, is set for its re-release on April 18. The film features Gopika and Bhumika as female leads. The soundtrack composed by MM Keeravani was the major highlight of this film.
