Raja Saab Owes More Than Just a Teaser

With updates from The Raja Saab keeps on getting delayed, fans are growing increasingly anxious as weeks and months go by. Though there’s buzz in the industry that the teaser is ready, fans feel that’s just not enough. They’re demanding clarity on the actual release date. If it’s indeed slated for 2025, they want the makers to lock in and announce a concrete date. Prabhas, who is currently abroad, is expected to dub for the teaser as soon as he returns, after which further updates will follow.

But finalizing Raja Saab’s release date is not so easier. Director Maruthi is working out timelines for the remaining song shoots and pending talkie portions. However, the biggest challenge remains Prabhas’s packed schedule. He’s committed to The Faujii simultaneously and doesn’t intend to delay that project either. The scattered and inconsistent media rumors surrounding Raja Saab’s delay are only adding to fans’ worries. While the teaser might help calm things down a bit, it won’t be a complete solution. Once the teaser buzz fades, the same uncertainty will return.

Analyzing the situation, a Dussehra release seems nearly impossible. With other films like Kantara 2, Akhanda 2, Sambarala Yeti Gattu, and Idly Kadaai lined up, it’s best to avoid that crowded season. Diwali isn’t exactly a lucrative window for Tollywood either. That leaves December as the only viable option. If the film turns out well, it could repeat the Salaar success model. Sankranti is already packed with big releases, so Raja Saab will need to cash in before then.

Starring Nidhhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan as the female leads, The Raja Saab also features Sanjay Dutt in a key role. Thaman is reworking the music, and the current focus is on wrapping up the remaining crucial parts of the shoot.
