Sri Natarajan, who gained fame through Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film Maanagaram, has been the center of discussion recently due to growing concerns about his health and mental well-being. In response, director Lokesh Kanagaraj recently shared an official statement released by Sri’s family.
According to the statement, Sri is currently under medical supervision, and the family is deeply troubled by the spread of false and exaggerated stories regarding his condition. They requested privacy and respect during this difficult time.
Sri Naratarajan began his career in television serials and made his film debut in 2012 with Valakku Enn 18/9. Later, he acted in Onayum Aatkuttiyum, Sone Papidi, Vil Ambu, Maanagaram, and Irugapatru. In 2017, he also appeared briefly on Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1, but exited the show on the fourth day due to personal reasons.
Recently, Sri posted a few troubling videos on social media in which he appeared visibly distressed and unrecognizable. Reports also suggested that he had distanced himself from his family. His close friends confirmed that efforts are being made to ensure he receives the care and support he needs.
Reportedly, Sri complained of issues about not getting paid by multiple production houses in time, pushing him into depression.
