But here is an incident where Shankar Dada MBBS served as a reason for a young girl to understand her symptoms of Type 1 Diabetes. We are talking about the Telugu girl Vaishnavi Varma, a medico who is known by the name Pancreas Paused on Instagram.

“My beta cells ditched me in 2018. Now, I’m a girl juggling insulin and idlis,” reads Vaishnavi’s Instagram caption.

Vaishnavi Varma claims that the film helped her recognise her medical condition when even doctors couldn’t. She shared a reel, explaining how she was able to diagnose her condition, not by a doctor, not in a clinic, but by watching a movie.

Vaishnavi was actually feeling thirsty constantly and also feel starving for a long time. She was also peeing oceans and losing weight. Whoever doctor she consulted was not able to understand her problem. Then one day, while watching Shankar Dada MBBS, she realised her medical condition through a scene where Chiranjeevi describes a medical condition.

She got tested for the same, and it confirmed her suspicion that she had diabetes. She captioned the video, “Not your usual diagnosis story.”
