Rishab Shetty’s Kantara has brough immense fame to Kannada cinema across the nation, after the successful KGF franchise. However, the film’s prequel, Kantara: Chapter 1 is attracting many controversies of late, some of which are also tragedies. After the recent death of the film’s junior artist, another actor associated with the film died.

Actor Rakesh Poojary who was the winner of Comedy Kiladigalu Season 3 died of heart attack on Sunday. The death took place on Sunday evening at a mehendi ceremony in Nitte near Udupi. The actor completed the film’s shoot recently and was attending a wedding event.

Rakesh suffered a heart attack during a mehendi function and was declared dead shortly thereafter. Although he was rushed to a hospital nearby, he died. Unfortunately, a few days ago, a junior artiste had died by drowning while swimming in the river during his break.

Both these incidents did not occur on the film’s sets but the film is attracting the wrong reasons these days.
