After delivering a surprise hit with ‘Court’, director Ram Jagadeesh has caught everyone’s attention and now, rumors suggest he’s teaming up with Nani as producer again for a film that might also star Dulquer Salmaan. If true, this trio of Nani, Dulquer Salmaan and Ram Jagadeesh could make for one of the most exciting collaborations in Telugu cinema.
Court, produced by Nani, became one of the most profitable films of the year despite its modest cast and budget. It found both critical and commercial success, especially after streaming on Netflix, where it drew pan-India attention. The way Ram Jagadeesh handled the story, balancing intense courtroom drama with a powerful message, has now put him on the radar as a serious talent in the industry.
Sources reveal that Nani had already signed a second film with Ram Jagadeesh during the making of Court. What’s interesting this time is the rumored involvement of Dulquer Salmaan as the lead. The script is said to be high on concept, and though final details are under wraps, early talks between the parties have reportedly gone well. Once the script is locked, an official announcement is expected.
With Nani backing him again, and the possibility of a popular actor like Dulquer leading the cast, the project already feels big. If Court succeeded without commercial ingredients, imagine what this trio can achieve with a wider scale.
As for timelines, the project is currently in pre-production, and clarity is expected within the next couple of weeks. Meanwhile, Nani is preparing to join the sets of The Paradise next month. Until then, director Srikanth Odela will finish filming the portions that don’t require Nani. Meanwhile, Ram Jagadeesh is also reportedly keen on directing Nani himself in a future film.
