Trailer Talk: Hunger Comedy Bakasura

Sr comedian Praveen, known for his roles in many hit films, is now playing the lead role in a new movie titled Bakasura Restaurant. Viva Harsha plays the title character. The film also features Krishna Bhagavan, Shining Phani, and KGF Garuda Ram in important roles.

Directed by S. J. Shiva, who is making his debut as a director, the film is produced by Lakshmayya Achari and Janardhan Achari under the SJ Movies banner. The shooting is complete and the movie is ready for release.

The film is described as a “hunger comedy entertainer.” The trailer was released on Friday, with well-known director Maruthi launching it as the chief guest at the event.

Speaking at the launch, Praveen said, “Bakasura Restaurant will be out soon. I’m thankful to Maruthi garu for launching our trailer. His film Prema Katha Chitram played a big role in my career. I’m really happy he’s supporting my film.”

Director Maruthi said, “The title is already a hit. It’s catchy and gives a good vibe. I’ve always wanted to see Praveen as a hero, and it’s finally happening. I believe this film will be a big step forward in his career and will connect well with the audience.”

Producer Janardhan Achari added, “When Shiva told me the story, I liked it immediately. We felt Praveen was the perfect fit. All the actors gave great performances. KGF Garuda Ram’s role will be a highlight. The audience will enjoy this film.”

The film stars Praveen, Viva Harsha, Shining Phani (Bamchik Bunty), KGF Garuda Ram, Krishna Bhagavan, Srikant Iyengar, Uppena Jayakrishna, Vivek Dandu, Amar, Ram Patas, Ramya Priya, Prachi Thakur, and Jabardasth Apparao.

The cinematography is by Bala Saraswathi, editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh, and music by Vikas Badisa. Vinay Kotti is the executive producer, with Sri Raja CR Thangala as the art director. The film’s PROs are Eluru Srinu and Maduri Madhu.
