Venky, Premalu Girl – All Good Vibes For Suriya!

Actor Suriya recently arrived with Karthik Subbaraj’s directorial “Retro”, but it turned out to be a flop at the box office. The actor has been going through a rough patch for the last few years, and especially, his Telugu market has gone down significantly due to consecutive flops.

Hoping to break his flop streak and revive his Telugu market, Suriya teamed up with director Venky Atluri for his next film. Tentatively called #Suriya46, this movie was launched this morning with a formal pooja ceremony at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. Sithara Entertainments will be bankrolling the project, along with Fortune Four Cinemas and Sreekara Studios. GV Prakash Kumar will be composing the music for it. This is Sithara and GV’s third film with Venky Atluri, after Sir and Lucky Baskhar. Premalu fame Mamitha Baiju will be acting alongside Suriya in the film. More details about the rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon.

Venky Atluri is on a roll with the consecutive hits, Sir and Lucky Baskhar. It has to be seen if he manages to deliver that much-needed success for Suriya with this movie. Producer Naga Vamshi shared a social media post saying that they will be bringing the ‘Sanjay Ramaswamy’ back with this movie. Suriya’s character of Sanjay Ramaswamy from Ghajini was loved by the Tamil and Telugu diaspora. So, Naga Vamshi’s statements are raising expectations for this movie. Stay tuned for more updates on it.
