Dhanush is all set to play the role of a lifetime. He will be stepping into the shoes of India’s beloved former President and rocket scientist Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The film, aptly titled Kalam: The Missile Man of India, was announced during the Cannes Film Festival.
The title poster features a monochrome image of Dhanush as Dr. Kalam, artfully intersected by a missile, a representation to his monumental contributions to India’s defense and space programs.
Directed by Tanhaji and Adipurush fame director Om Raut, the biopic will be produced on a grand scale by Abhishek Agarwal, Anil Sunkara, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar on T-Series, AK Entertainments, and Abhishek Agarwal Arts banners.
Dhanush who has done many distinctive roles in his career is delighted to play APJ Abdul Kalam. More details are awaited.
