Now that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga decided to drop Deepika Padukone from his next film Spirit, the team began to work on finding a replacement. With Prabhas playing the lead role, the team wants to bring in a tall heroine who will be a perfect match. In this context, Prabhas’ fans have a genuine request to Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Interestingly, most of the fans of Prabhas are expressing their wish to see Prabhas paired up with Mrunal Thakur. The pair has not been seen together on the big screen so far. However, Mrunal was seen in Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD, but did not share the screen together. With Mrunal’s growing popularity in Telugu, the fans demand that Sandeep consider picking up the Sita Ramam heroine.

Mrunal Thakur is genuinely a nice option for team Spirit. She is tall and looks good behind Prabhas. Additionally, she is a great performer who has an established fan base in both Hindi and South film industries. Mrunal debuted in Bollywood and it helps the film on the marketing front too. She can even understand Telugu language and could be willing to dub her lines for the movie.

On the other hand, it is unclear what Sandeep Vanga is thinking. He initially hired Deepika because she is the top heroine in the country and had already worked with Prabhas in Kalki 2898 AD. If Sandeep is thinking about the heroine who can push the project’s market, Mrunal definitely lags behind. But if he is okay with any performer and not keen on the market value, Mrunal would bring in a lot of hype to the project. On the flip side, Rukmini Vasanth’s name is also in consideration for the heroine’s role. However, the big question is if Rukmini has time to work on this film, given her full commitment to Dragon. There are rumors that she was also approached to play the heroine’s role alongside Venkatesh’s next in Trivikram’s direction.
