Sandeep Vanga Ropes In Animal Actress For Spirit

Over the last few days, there have been many reports circulating in the media regarding the female lead of Rebel Star Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s highly anticipated film, Spirit. It has been reported that Deepika Padukone was initially approached for the leading lady role, but the makers decided not to cast her due to remuneration issues.

Finally, Sandeep Reddy Vanga went back to his old associate Tripti Dimpri for the role. He roped in the Animal actress to play the leading lady in the film. Tripti Dimri announced the news by writing, “Still sinking in…. So grateful to be trusted with this journey. Thank you @sandeepreddy.vanga ..honoured to be a part of your vision.”

It was rumoured that Mrunal Thakur and a few other actresses were being considered for the role, but finally, it was Tripti who bagged the role. It will be her second on-screen collaboration with Vanga.

Spirit will have a worldwide release in languages Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Korean and Japanese. The shoot is expected to begin later this year. It is being jointly produced by Bhadrakali Productions and T-Series.
