At 70, Kamal Haasan Goes All Out for Promotions

Kamal Haasan is going all out to promote his new film Thug Life across languages. Having completed the film’s shoot on time, the sensational actor dedicated a lot of time to the promotions. Kamal usually promotes all his movies and keeps himself available for various activities. But with Thug Life, it is different. He is seen everywhere and catching maximum attention during the promotions.

The other day, during the musical event, he sang along with a small kid. While the small kid started crooning Kanmani, Kamal accompanied her, sat down on stage with her and enthralled the audience with his singing skills. His move to sit on the stage along with the kid brought a lot of positive response and attention to Thug Life.

Before that, for the first time, he interacted with all the social media influencers in Tamil Nadu and the Telugu states. The influencers were airlifted to Chennai and the event has become a very big hit. Later, he came down to Hyderabad for a special press meet. At the same time, we are now hearing the reports about the film having a pre-release event in Hyderabad.

Kamal Haasan clearly stated that he is not promoting the film because of the fear in content. He mentioned that Thug Life will be bigger than Nayagan. However, according to him, he is going aggressively in promotions just to take the film to many audiences. At the age of 70, he is just putting an effort even the young heroes sometimes fail to do so.

Directed by Mani Ratnam, Thug Life also features Trisha, Abirami, Simbhu and others. The film will release on June 5th.
