Director Sekhar Kammula’s Telugu-Tamil bilingual Kuberaa is gearing up for its release on the 20th of this month. The team already came up with different glimpses, and a couple of songs, with one being a theme of the movie. After generating initial buzz with the promos, the makers organized a grand audio launch event in Chennai.
Nagarjuna struck a nostalgic chord, recalling his connection with the city. Thanking Chennai audiences for their unwavering love, he hinted at more cinematic excitement ahead: “Soon after Kuberaa, Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie will amaze you big time.”
Dhanush delivered an emotionally charged speech, reflecting on today’s world as Kalikaalam, where negativity overshadows goodness. “Sekhar Kammula is a pure soul, like a divine angel.”
Recounting shooting of his first scene, barefoot in Tirupati, dressed as a beggar, Dhanush said the moment stripped life down to its core truths. “Greed and wealth mean nothing. A pure soul is everything. Kuberaa will make you feel that, and I’m 2000% sure.”
