Actor Rana Daggubati got annoyed with paparazzi culture in Bollywood. A video surfaced in social media platforms shows Rana is seen visibly annoyed with a bunch of photographers swarming him. Apparently, he collides with a person coming from an opposite direction, in the process he drops his mobile.
In an interview, Rana said he didn’t call paparazzi nor did they take his consent before clicking pictures. “I don’t like it, I don’t like them intruding into my personal space. I’ve been very vocal against it. They come to my house for which I respectfully asked them not to. And they still turn up even at airports which is pretty annoying.”
Stating that such culture is not prevalent in Telugu industry, Rana said privacy is generally respected in Tollywood. The ‘Baahubali’ actor pointed out that content should be created with the individual’s consent. “Make content if the opposite person is paying you attention. Make it with ones who want you to be there,” he said.
Meanwhile, the incident sparked debate among netizens on social media about celebrity privacy and boundaries of media coverage of celebs in public spaces. While many of his fans wrote supporting Rana, some users were quite surprised by the actor’s reaction at paparazzi.
