Producer Backed Out But Prabhas Stood By Director

Prabhas’ fans brutally trolled director Maruthi after announcing a film, The Raja Saab, with the actor. However, he surprised everyone now with the teaser of the movie. But, there is a back story of how the film happened. During the teaser launch event, Maruthi shared how Prabhas stood by him when no one supported him after the failure of his last film, Pakka Commercial.

It was during the time of Pakka Commercial that Maruthi was approached by Prabhas’ cousin, Vamsi, who heads UV Creations. Prabhas expressed his wish to work with Maruthi for a fun film like Prema Katha Chithram or Bhale Bhale Magadivoi. Interestingly, Maruthi narrated a story to Prabhas but after the release of Pakka Commercial, the film failed. Maruthi was disappointed, and the producer who wanted to work on the Prabhas-Maruthi film backed out.

It is then that Prabhas stood by Maruthi. The director was even ready to tell Prabhas that they can team up at a later point in time, but the actor confirmed that he loved the story. So, Maruthi took the challenge and decided to face everything, resulting in the film happening.

The film’s teaser opened to a positive response from everyone. People Media Factory is producing the film and they have high hopes on the project.
