After Multiple Delays, HHVM Finally Locks Its Release Date

The painstaking wait for Pawan Kalyan fans has ended finally! After several years-long delays and several postponements, the keenly awaited historic action drama, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, is finally confirmed for a July 24th release, as speculated. The makers of HHVM made this exciting announcement on Saturday morning.

“One fights for Power. One fights for Dharma. The clash of legacies begins. Witness the Battle for truth, faith and freedom,” read HHVM’s release date announcement poster. The poster features Pawan Kalyan as the warrior rebel, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, and Bollywood star Bobby Deol as the Mughal tyrant, Aurangzeb.

With HHVM, Pawan Kalyan aims to acquire an on-screen image as the saviour of Hindu dharma across the country, which will directly benefit his political journey as the Messiah of Sanatana Dharma. With no major Bollywood releases in sight, HHVM should pack a punch at the box office even in the Hindi-speaking North Indian markets.

However, despite HHVM’s makers’ official announcement, there are apprehensions about the movie hitting theaters on July 24th. With less than a month remaining for the film’s release and pan-India promotions not kicking off yet, the film needs a miracle to emerge as a blockbuster across India.

On the other hand, HHVM’s release date announcement has cast dark clouds over the release of Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom. The film has been eyeing a July 25th release after being postponed from its previous scheduled date of May 30th. Fans will have to wait for a couple of weeks to get more clarity on the release dates of these two Tollywood biggies.
