Basil Joseph, one of the most talented filmmakers in South cinema, is currently planning a big pan-India project, Shaktimaan. The film was confirmed already with Ranveer Singh. However, the recent speculations said that the film will feature Allu Arjun instead of Ranveer Singh. But, the director issued a clarity over the same, in a recent interview.
When asked if Ranveer was replaced by Allu Arjun, the director officially confirmed that there is no truth in the same. Basil revealed that the project Shaktimaan will happen with Ranveer and there is no change about it. The confirmation has given a clarity on the rumors about Allu Arjun becoming a Shaktimaan.
It is now clear that Allu Arjun is not doing Shaktimaan but if he is teaming up with Basil Joseph or not, the time has to decide. Soon after Allu Arjun’s film with Trivikram was called off, the actor’s PR team hinted at his potential collaboration with Basil Joseph and everyone thought that it is Shaktimaan.
On the other hand, Allu Arjun’s next film is with Atlee.
