Macho Hero Opposite Pawan Kalyan?

On the eve of Dussehra festival, Sithara Entertainments banner had announced their forthcoming movie with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. This is the remake of Malayalam movie ‘Ayyappannum Koshiyum’ and Pawan will be essaying the role of a powerful police officer in this movie.

This is a multi-hero movie and the makers are in search of another hero. Before the announcement, there were rumours that Tollywood hulk Rana Daggubati is expected to reprise the role of Prithviraj Sukumaran from the original. But the makers did not react to these rumours and so there came reports that Rana is not doing this film. Later young heroes like Nithiin and Sai Dharam Tej showed interest in it. Yet nothing materialised.

Now there is buzz among the tinsel town folks that Macho hero Gopichand is being considered for the second protagonist role. As the role has some grey shades, Gopichand might fill in the shoes aptly. At the moment he is very low in his career and he is struggling to score a hit. It will be a wise choice, if he signs the film.

But most importantly, Gopichand will feature alongside Pawan Kalyan on the big screen and it will be a great opportunity. With this, the macho hero can also earn a few mega fans and that way he can bounce back.

Saagar K Chandra will direct the remake and the shooting will roll from next year.
