Alcohol FL: This Time A Thriller For Allari Naresh

The first look poster of Allari Naresh’s new film Alcohol was unveiled today on the occasion of his birthday. Touted to be a thriller, this movie is directed by Meher Tej of Family Drama fame and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya on Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios and Fortune Four Cinemas banners.

The poster looks intriguing with Allari Naresh’s image blended in alcohol. For the last few years, Naresh has been versatile with his choices and is trying to shed his comedy-actor image. The likes of Naandhi, Uggram and Maredumilli Prajanikam prove how Naresh is trying to experiment with different genres irrespective of their box-office results. Now, Alcohol also joins this list.

Director Meher Tej’s debut flick, Family Drama, was an intriguing thriller starring Suhaas in the lead role. Despite releasing directly on OTT, the film received wide acclaim, especially for its story and performances. Now, it looks like Meher is coming up with yet another unique thriller. We hear that though the movie has been titled alcohol, Naresh wouldn’t drink alcohol in it. If you’re wondering why the film is titled Alcohol, you’ll have to wait until its release to find out. We hear that Alcohol is going to be a gripping thriller from the beginning to the end with Naresh’s trademark humour elements. It is said that Naresh will be seen in a never-seen-before role and his performance will give a different high for the viewers.

Ruhani Sharma is playing the female lead in the movie. Ghibran is composing the music for it. It is heard that Alcohol has completed over 50% of its shoot already, and the makers might announce the release date very soon.
