Can 2025 Diwali Releases Match 2024’s Fireworks?

Diwali 2024 turned out to be fruitful for the Telugu box office as three films that were released during the festive season emerged as successful ventures. Dulquer Salmaan’s Lucky Baskhar, Kiran Abbavaram’s Ka and Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran did well in theatres despite releasing at the same time.

Now, there are big films lined up for release during the 2025 Diwali season. But we have to see if they can repeat the magic of the 2024 Diwali releases.

Pradeep Ranganathan, who scored a hit with Dragon earlier this year, is coming with Dude during Diwali. Starring Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, this romantic comedy is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.

After scoring a hit with Ka during Diwali last year, Kiran Abbavaram is coming with K-Ramp this Diwali. Today, the makers have officially announced that K-Ramp will hit the screens during Diwali.

Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s Telusu Kada have also confirmed its arrival during Diwali. The makers have already announced that it would hit the screens on October 17. Directed by Neeraja Kona, this romantic drama features Srinidhi Shetty and Raashi Khanna as the female leads.

Apart from these three films, Karthi’s Sardaar 2 or Suriya’s Karuppu may get released during the Diwali festive season. As Suriya and Karthi are brothers, only one of their movies will arrive during Diwali and the other one will be moved to a later date.

Totally, there are multiple releases lined up for this year’s Diwali festive season, and it has to be seen if they can repeat the fireworks of 2024 releases.
