Is ‘OG’ getting postponed from Sep 25? Team reacts!

Pawan Kalyan’s OG is one of the most anticipated releases of 2025. It has been in production for the last couple of years and fans have been waiting with bated breath for a long time to witness the film on the big screen. The movie is scheduled to release on September 25, but for the last few days, it has been widely rumoured that the release may get pushed once again.

However, the film’s production house, DVV Entertainments, refuted all rumours and affirmed that OG will hit the theatres on September 25. Taking it to social media, the production house’s handle tweeted, “Rumours ni Nammakandi… #TheyCallHimOG arrives on Sept 25th!! #OG.”

With this announcement, fans are quite relaxed and going by the current scenario, September 25th is the ideal date for OG’s release. Pawan Kalyan has already wrapped up his portions. The team has two months to work on the patchwork and post-production. Additionally, there is a deadline from Netflix regarding the release date. Considering these factors, there are high chances of OG releasing on September 25.

On the other side, Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 is also aiming to release on the same day and the makers announced the date officially, as well. So, we have to see if this Dusshera festive season will witness a clash between Pawan Kalyan and Balayya or if anyone of them decides to shift their release to a later date.
