Balakrishna Breaking the Mold with Vishwaksen!

The senior heroes of the Telugu film industry are showing signs of keeping themselves away from routine and outdated trends. While Venkatesh is playing his age, or father to kids, or even experimenting with web series like Rana Naidu, Nagarjuna was recently surprised by playing a character in Dhanush’s Kubera. Chiranjeevi appreciated it and confessed that he would follow a similar path, but Balakrishna is on a different level in this context. As he already created a trend in hosting talk shows, he is now stepping up his game.

While Nagarjuna did a full-length character in Kubera, Balakrishna was already signed up for doing a special appearance in Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2. It will definitely hike the film’s craze and generate a different hype altogether. Now, taking it to another level, Balakrishna reportedly agreed to be a part of the Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi sequel.

Directed by Tharun Bhascker, ENE is a finely crafted buddy comedy that did wonders at the box office, especially during its re-release. Now, the director confirmed the film’s sequel, which is yet to hit the floors, with the same cast reuniting. With Vishwaksen headlining the project, we hear that Balakrishna will play an extended cameo and appear in a role that has a screen time of around 15 minutes.

Venkatesh also earlier did cameos as he played God in Vishwaksen’s Ori Devuda. But, it is more or less a guest appearance, adding no big value to the project. But what Balakrishna is doing is different altogether. His presence in Jailer 2 is a big boost to the team, while the same is expected to happen with ENE 2. Even though Suresh Productions is bankrolling ENE 2, it will still be termed as a small film, and considering Balakrishna’s good bonding with Vishwaksen, this might be happening. However, whatever is being heard is still a rumor that needs confirmation.

Having said that, if the rumor becomes true, then Balakrishna is setting himself apart from others in terms of approaching a new trend, away from routine and outdated commercial films. While Balakishna still does films like Akhanda 2, he is also open to doing meaningful appearances in other films, thus confirming his second innings in style, which he already did.

Altogether, it all looks like a healthy trend that the four senior heroes of Telugu cinema are open to experiments.
