It looks like Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is trying to create an action avatar of himself, like how Ranbir Kapoor did with Animal. In the process, he is now coming with his new film, Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar of Uri: The Surgical Strike Fame. On the eve of Ranveer’s birthday, the makers unveiled the 3-minute first look teaser of the film.
The first impression after watching the teaser will be that it is slick and action-packed, featuring Ranveer in a never-seen-before avatar. He bulked up his body and grew his hair to shoulder level, showcasing himself in a completely new, rugged look. From some angles, it will remind us of his look from Padmavaat. The teaser is packed with infinite action scenes, which were cut in sync with a catchy Punjabi track. The music composer and the editor deserve a pat on their backs for their immense contribution in making this teaser look stunning.
Ranveer also looks dashing in the teaser, and he is accompanied by many popular actors like Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna in the movie. All of them are looking in new avatars, giving a new experience to the audience. Sara Arjun, who played Vikram’s daughter in “Nanna”, is playing the female lead in this movie. We get her glimpse only for a couple of seconds, and it has to be seen if this will be her breakthrough as a lead actress.
On the whole, Dhurandhar looks like a solid action thriller, and it is set for a worldwide release on December 5, clashing with Prabhas’s The Raja Saab. So, it is going to be an intense fight between The Raja Saab and Dhurandhar this year-end in North India. We have to see who will emerge as the final winner.
