Allu Arjun Teams Up Again with Rashmika

After wrapping up Pushpa: The Rule, Allu Arjun has moved on to his next major venture, a high-budget pan-Indian film with director Atlee. Tentatively titled AA22xA6, the film is being produced by Sun Pictures and is currently in the early stages of production. The makers are planning a global theatrical release in multiple languages in late 2026 or early 2027.

Atlee, known for blending emotion, action, and commercial appeal, is said to be crafting a story set across dual universes with strong visual effects backing. The casting is ambitious, with Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur already confirmed for significant roles.

In a fresh development, Rashmika Mandanna has joined the project in a key role. This marks her third film with Allu Arjun after Pushpa: The Rise and Pushpa 2: The Rule. However, unlike the Pushpa films, her role here is expected to be character-driven and not positioned as the actor’s love interest. Sources indicate that she has already completed her look test and body scan as part of the film’s pre-production phase.

There is also talk of Bhagyashri Borse, a rising face in the South, being approached for the film, though her involvement is yet to be confirmed.

If Pushpa 3 goes on floors after this, it could mark a fourth consecutive collaboration between Allu Arjun and Rashmika—a rare streak in recent Telugu cinema.
