Dual Dhamaka: South Stars Upcoming Films In Dual Roles

Telugu heroes have always been interested in playing dual roles. Thus, since the beginning, we have seen many actors attempting dual roles in their movies. Now, let us have a look at the upcoming films where we hear that our star heroes are playing a double role.

1. Akhanda 2

Just like the first part, Nandamuri Balakrishna will be seen in a dual role in Akhanda 2. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, Akhanda is slated for a grand release on September 25.

2. The Raja Saab

Prabhas will be seen as grandfather-grandson in his next film, The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. After the Baahubali series and Kalki, Prabhas is playing two roles again in this movie.

3. Allu Arjun and Atlee Project:

We hear that Allu Arjun will be seen in a triple role in this highly anticipated project. This will be the first time Allu Arjun will be playing multiple roles in his career. Deepika Padukone, Rashmika and Mrunal Thakur are playing the female leads in the film, and we hear that the makers will sign another actress soon. Sun Pictures is bankrolling this magnum opus.

4. Sardar 2:

Karthi was seen in a dual role in the successful spy thriller, Sardar. He will be reprising both roles once again in its sequel, Sardar 2. This film is slated for a Diwali 2025 release.

5. VD-Rahul Sankrityan Film:

Vijay Deverakonda has teamed up with Rahul Sankrityan for a period action drama. Currently, the film is in the pre-production stage, and it will hit the floors once VD wraps up Rowdy Janardhana. We hear that Vijay will be playing a dual role, as a father and son, in this movie.

6. Devara 2:

After playing a dual role in Devara, it is heard that Jr NTR will be seen in two roles in Devara 2 as well. Though it was shown that Devara’s character was dead in the first part, sources claim we get to see a few scenes of the character in the sequel, too.

Apart from these movies, rumours also say that Chiranjeevi is playing a dual role in his next with Anil Ravipudi, Ram Charan essaying a double role in Peddi, and NTR is also doing a dual role once again in his next film with Prashant Neel. As of now, these remain as rumours and we have to wait for official confirmations.
