Kireeti Is Fortunate to Receive Compliments: Rajamouli

The pre-release event of Kireeti Reddy’s debut film Junior was held in a grand manner, with the core team in attendance and SS Rajamouli gracing the occasion as the chief guest.

Kireeti shared the reason he wants the movie to become a hit, especially for his producer Sai Korrapati. “If I wish for 1% success for myself, I genuinely wish for 99% success for Sai sir. He believed in me and placed his trust in me. When a director succeeds, it benefits not just one but ten actors. It’s a great thing for the industry as a whole.”

He also expressed admiration for his team. “Genelia is one of the most divine people I’ve ever met in my life. This isn’t a typical bubbly character. It’s a very unique role. Senthil sir, behind the camera, gave me incredible support and encouragement. There is a 10-minute action sequence with 1,000 masters, which was possible only because of Peter Hein master. We’ve worked hard on this film for three years. And before I wrap up, I want to take a moment to remember someone like NTR, whom I deeply admire.”

Rajamouli appreciated producer Sai Korrapati for assembling such a wonderful cast and crew. “When Sai first started this film, my initial impression was that he was making a small film with a good story. But gradually, with each new addition such as Sreeleela, Genelia, and Ravichandran, the project just kept getting bigger and bigger. Then came the crew, like Devi doing the music, Senthil handling cinematography, and Peter Hein choreographing the action. One by one, everyone added so much value.”

Rajamouli also praised Kireeti, Sreeleela, and Genelia. “Sai shared something with me about Sreeleela’s hard work in the Viral Vayyari song. I was really amazed. She will surely go places. Genelia looks like she’s frozen in time, with the same beauty and the same grace. Senthil promised we’d see a new side of Genelia in this film. Kireeti is fortunate to receive compliments from Senthil Kumar and Peter Hein, who are usually very critical.”

The movie Junior is set for release on July 18th.
