The makers of Anandhi starrer Garividi Lakshmi began its promotions recently by launching the film’s first look. TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad of People Media Factory bankroll the movie directed by Gowri Naidu Jammu, with Anandhi essaying the lead. Meanwhile, they released the film’s glimpse.
It’s the untold true story of Garividi Lakshmi, who is an entertainer with a celebration of emotions and cultural roots. She performed 10K+ shows in 15 years, and her cassettes were the highest sold in the 90’s across Andhra Pradesh. The crowd frenzy at her events speaks volumes about the legendary status she achieved as a folk singer.
Anandhi looks impeccable in the role of Garividi Lakshmi, and the brief glimpse suggests the film will be packed with emotionally charged, high-impact moments. Charan Arjun’s electrifying musical score further elevates the overall experience.
On the whole, Garividi Lakshmi is an entertainer rooted in our soil, filled with soulful songs. It is indeed a feel-good folk entertainer you’ll remember.
