Exclusive: Pawan Kalyan Opens Up in Interview With Gulte

Pawan Kalyan is currently one of the busiest people, with a packed schedule that includes his film release, back-to-back promotions, and important political responsibilities. Despite all this, we are truly thankful that he took time out for Gulte. Our team waited in Mangalagiri for a couple of days to get this interview, and finally, he made it a special and memorable moment for us.

Here comes first ever Gulte’s exclusive interview with Hero, AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, he spoke openly about his career, personal beliefs, and his experiences. He shared his thoughts on film releases, daily life, dealing with failures, and how deeply he values cinema.

Pawan Kalyan said he doesn’t feel nervous or excited when a film is about to release. For him, the real focus is on doing his job with passion. He said that nervousness only comes when that passion is missing.

One major moment in his journey was the film Jhonny. While it didn’t do well, Pawan doesn’t see it as a failure. Instead, he sees it as a point where he realized many things. He said Jhonny helped him step back from films and focus more on real-life experiences. That change helped him grow, especially in his political life. He said life itself is a big gift, and that’s what keeps him strong even during tough times.

Pawan still loves movies, especially storytelling. However, he gets frustrated when people in the film industry don’t act professionally. He believes that cinema is a deep part of human life and evolution, and it should always carry meaning. In his upcoming film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, he said the climax scenes will show some of his real-life feelings and experiences, especially the pain and struggle people go through.

He believes films should not just entertain but also give positive messages. He shared how the movie Sankarabharanam changed how he saw Carnatic music, and how Bruce Lee’s films inspired him to learn martial arts.

Pawan also spoke about human nature. He believes people are not fully good or bad but have “shades of grey.” He used the example of a lotus flower, which grows from the mud but still comes out beautiful. In the same way, he said people should try to rise above their struggles and become better human beings.

While he doesn’t plan to direct films anytime soon, Pawan said he wants to bring back his production house, Pawan Kalyan Creative Works. He hopes that his passion and ideas will shine through in the films he produces.
