Lokah Teaser: Kalyani Turns Superhero For Her Next!

On the occasion of his birthday, Dulquer Salmaan unveiled the teaser of his upcoming production outing, Lokah – Chapter 1: Chandra, earlier today. Starring Kalyani Priyadarshan in the titular role, this movie is touted as the first female superhero film in Malayalam. Naslen of Premalu fame is playing the other lead role in the movie.

Dulquer shared the teaser and wrote, “Welcome to the world of Lokah! In theatres this Onam. Teaser out now.” From the teaser, it looks like the film is set in two different timelines. Kalyani from the current period seems to have a link to the older period.

For the first time in her career, she is seen doing superhero-style action stunts. Her character, named “Chandra,” seems to be connected to an old legend. Overall, the teaser of Lokah looks very exciting and could be a big breakthrough for Kalyani if it connects well with the audience.

The visuals are excellent, and the background music matches the mood well. The production, by Dulquer’s Wayfarer Films, is of high quality. Lokah is written and directed by Dominic Arun and is set to release worldwide during Onam this year.
