The Government of India announced the 71st National Film Awards on August 1, and Telugu films once again made a strong mark at the national level. Among the winners, young talent Sukrithi Veni Bandreddy won the Best Child Artist award for her role in the film ‘Gandhi Thaatha Chettu’.
