Released with modest expectations, the devotional animated film Mahavatar Narasimha is now creating ripples at the box office, registering record-breaking collections.
Director Ashwin Kumar and his team’s hard work has paid off, with the film turning out to be a massive blockbuster.
Allu Aravind expressed his gratitude to Lord Narasimha for the opportunity to release the film in the Telugu states. “I share a deeply rooted bond with Hombale Films. When they approached me about releasing the film, I readily agreed. Initially, we gave the film a modest release. But as word-of-mouth spread, the number of theatres doubled in no time.”
He also praised Ashwin Kumar’s humility. “Hearing about all the struggles he faced since the project began in 2021 was truly moving. Lord Narasimha Swamy has blessed their hard work. At AMB Cinemas, around 200 Swamijis came to watch the film, and some of them said it was their first time returning to a theatre in many years.”
Tanikella Bharani and Jonnavithula also watched the film and were deeply moved by its message. Addressing devotees of Sanatana Dharma, Aravind added, “In my close circles, no one has a deeper understanding of Sanatana Dharma than Pawan Kalyan. I hope he watches this film and speaks about it.”
Mahavatar Narasimha is currently running to packed houses in its second week, with demand only growing stronger.
