Dulquer Salmaan’s bilingual film Kaantha directed by Selvamani Selvaraj continues to build excitement following its recently released teaser. The glimpse introduced the prime character and also depicted the backdrop of the movie. Today, the team unveiled the film’s first single, Hey Pasi Manase, marking the beginning of its musical journey.
The song, composed by Jhanu Chanthar, draws inspiration from the musical stylings of the 80s, complete with rich orchestration and retro tones. Lyricist Krishna Kanth pens verses that celebrate the sweet, budding romance between the lead pair- Dulquer and Bhagyashri. Pradeep Kumar and Priyanka NK deliver a expressive rendition that resonates emotionally.
Set against the backdrop of a bygone cinematic era, the visuals transport viewers into the nostalgic charm of 80s Indian cinema. Dulquer Salmaan and Bhagyashri Borse light up the screen with their charming chemistry.
The movie made on Dulquer’s Wayfarer Films Pvt Ltd, and presented by Rana’s Spirit Media is gearing up for release on September 12th.
