Before their big wedding in 2012, Upasana wanted to see if Ram Charan really loved her. She asked him to go with her to a famous ice cream shop in Hyderabad’s Old City. “If you love me, come with me there,” she said. For a big star like Ram Charan, who acts in movies like RRR and has a busy life, this could mean lots of fans around them without much safety.

But he said yes right away. When they got there and ate ice cream in the car, fans saw them and started knocking on the doors. Ram Charan stayed calm and paid attention to her. “It was a real test of his love,” Upasana said with a smile. This showed how strong their connection is.

The couple met in school and became friends first, then partners. They had their daughter, Klin Kaara, in 2023. Upasana also talked about family time, like eating dosas with her father-in-law, Chiranjeevi. They focus on health and good living. Her business, Athamma’s Kitchen, sells organic food, which fits their healthy ways.
