‘Expected 1 Lakh But Chiru Helped 1 Crore’

Tamil stunt master and character artist Ponnambalam revealed multiple times in the past about the help that Megastar Chiranjeevi offered him during the time of crisis. Of late, Ponnambalam has not been keeping well, and he recovered from a kidney-related illness.

During one such time of crisis, Ponnambalam, who is struggling financially, knocked on the doors of Megastar. In a recent interview, the Tamil artist revealed receiving help of close to one crore rupees.

Ponnambalam looks all good, healthy, and completely recovered now. Whenever he gets a chance, he does not step back to express gratitude for Chiranjeevi. In a recent interview, he stated that he was expecting a help of close to 1 Lakh rupees, but till now, Chiru has spared one crore.

“When I was sick, I called Chiranjeevi sir and asked for help. I thought he will give 1 lakh rupees, but till now he has helped me with more than one crore rupees,” he said.

Chiranjeevi has always been generous when it comes to helping others. Especially, if there is anyone from within the film industry who approaches him for help and in return, if Chiru has a great opinion of the person, he will go to any extent to get the help done. Even during the time of COVID crisis, Chiru extended support to many film industry workers.

On the work front, Chiranjeevi is working on Vishwambhara and another film with director Anil Ravipudi.
