Rajamouli Opting to Capture Wild Animals Instead of CG?

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s films are known for grandeur and heavy VFX elements. Films like Magadheera, Eega, Baahubali and RRR redefined the VFX technology in Indian cinema. However, it looks like the ace director is opting to shoot his next film with Superstar Mahesh Babu, tentatively called SSMB 29, in a more realistic way than opting for heavy CG work.

After completing a few extensive schedules in India, the team of SSMB 29 landed in Nairobi to shoot the next schedule. The film’s lead actress, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, took to Instagram to share a series of pictures from her safari into the “pride lands”. She posted pictures and videos of various animals like Hyena, Hippopotamus, Ostrich and an African Buffalo.

Seeing Priyanka’s posts on Instagram, fans on social media are assuming that Rajamouli might be opting to shoot animals and the jungle side of Nairobi in a more realistic way in this CG-driven cinema era. They are much more excited to see what Rajamouli is planning for this film, especially after watching Priyanka’s posts.

As the makers mentioned earlier, SSMB 29 is going to be a globe-trotting action adventure drama, which is set against a forest backdrop. Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing another pivotal role in this movie.
