Samantha Depends On Period Crime Thriller For a Hit

Samantha and Nandini Reddy are joining hands for an interesting project soon. Titled Ma Inti Bangaram, the film is going to be in a different genre unlike what the title suggests. The title hints at a family drama but we hear that the movie is a crime thriller set in the backdrop of 80s.

If the reports are believed to be true, Samantha will headline the project just like how she did in Oh Baby. The actress wants to make a comeback to success since she could not score success in her last outings. Samantha was last seen in Yashoda and Shakuntalam, both of which are female centric films but Samantha did not taste a hit. She was seen in Kushi but it is not a female oriented film.

Although Samantha scored a decent success as a producer with the film Subham, she wants to grow more with this new film and step up her level as an actress in Telugu cinema once again. When Sam teamed up with Nandini for the first time in Jabardasth, it flopped. Later, they tasted a big hit with Oh Baby.

The details of other cast and crew are kept under wraps but Samantha wants to test her luck once again in the crime thriller genre. More details of the film will be out soon.
