A lot was discussed about director Krish’s quiet and unceremonial exit from Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu. After finishing more than fifty percent of the film, Krish has exited the project, prompting the film’s producer, AM Rathnam’s son, AM Jyothi Krishna, to step in to complete the film.
Even though Krish was duly credited in all promotional assets and in the movie, he didn’t appear in any interviews or pre-release events. Until now, Krish and HHVM’s team maintained complete silence on the director’s exit from the project. Meanwhile, HHVM was released after several years of delay and bombed miserably at the box office.
And finally, Krish has opened up about the reasons that led to his exit from HHVM. Interacting with the media during Ghaati promotions, Krish cited Covid-19 and “personal reasons” as the reasons for his exit from HHVM. “I adore both Pawan Kalyan garu and AM Rathnam garu. I had to exit HHVM due to scheduling conflicts after Covid-19 and also some personal reasons,” said the acclaimed director.
Incidentally, Krish started Anushka’s Ghaati even while HHVM was put on hold indefinitely. Krish revealed that he devotes his entire attention and passion towards any project he takes up and that he did the same for both HHVM and Ghaati. Starring Anushka Shetty in the titular role, Ghaati is all set to release in cinemas on September 5, 2025.
