Fans of Power Star Pawan Kalyan have been keenly awaiting the arrival of the pan-India gangster drama, They Call Him OG. The film is just three weeks away from its theatrical release on September 25, 2025.
On September 2nd, on the occasion of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday, OG makers released a special OG vs OMI glimpse video to satisfy all the excited fans and take the sky-high expectations to the next level. The glimpse video has done its job, and the excitement among fans is palpable.
OG makers released the OG vs OMI glimpse in Tamil and Hindi versions two days after the Telugu version, amid nonstop fan demand. While Pawan Kalyan’s fans are pleased with how the glimpses turned out, they are upset with the fact that the movie has not been promoted well in the Hindi belt as a major portion of the film’s story is set in Mumbai and Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi plays the antagonist in the movie.
It will be more beneficial if OG’s team could release the promotional content in each language at the same time. The OG vs OMI, featuring both Pawan and Emraan, has been received quite well by the Hindi audience for its stylish action without going overboard and making it a gore.
Pawan Kalyan’s Sanatan Dharma saviour image couldn’t help his recently released Hari Hara Veera Mallu in the North. Fans are hoping that OG will break the shackles and make Pawan Kalyan a bonafide pan-India movie star. And for their dream to be fulfilled, OG’s Hindi version should be positioned and promoted well.
