Telugu movie lovers are in for a massive treat this September. Three of Tollywood’s leading stars, Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, and Pawan Kalyan, are set to land in Vijayawada for the Vijayawada Utsav, which will be held from September 22nd to October 2nd during the Vijaya Dasami festival.
As per print media reports, The audio album launch events of Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu and Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2, and the pre-release event of Pawan Kalyan’s OG will be the special highlight of the Vijayawada Utsav. The event gets more star-studded with the presence of Siddu Jonnalagadda and his Telusu Kada leading ladies, Raashi Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty.
Special events are being planned at the Punnamighat near Gollapudi, Tummalapalli Kalakshetram, and Ghantasala Music College. Musical nights featuring top Tollywood music composers and playback singers like Shankar Mahadevan, RP Patnaik, Sunitha, Geethamadhuri, Rahul Sipligunj, the Miss Vijayawada beauty pageant, a marathon race, and boat races by the Krishna River will brighten up the festival.
Additional attractions include a huge firecracker show at Prakasam Barrage, Telugu Indian Idol by Aha featuring Thaman and singer Karthik, Caprico Music Band’s rap music show, Water and Kerala Drums Music Troupe, Devi Pandal, a drone show, Dandiya Arena, a handicraft stall, and a selfie booth. The Vijayawada Utsav will be held with the caption ‘One City… One Celebration,’ and the logo has been designed with images of Durgamma Bangaru Gopuram and Prakasam Barrage.
