Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas completes 10 years in the industry, and his milestone Kishkindhapuri is gearing up for release on September 12th. The film’s pre-release event was organized yesterday, and the actor gave clarity on his viral statement.
“My statement that I would quit the industry if anyone looked at their phone after the first 10 minutes of the film, went viral. Why would I ever quit? I’ll be in this industry until the end of my life,” Sreenivas clarified. “In my opinion, people shouldn’t be using their phones while watching a movie.”
Speaking about the film, he said, “Kishkindhapuri will both scare and entertain the audience. Scaring people is an art in itself. I believe Kaushik, who has made a wonderful film, will reach even greater heights after this. Chetan Bharadwaj’s music will shake up theatres. You’ll be hooked for two hours. This film will leave you with the satisfaction of having watched a great movie.”
He also expressed gratitude to the film’s producer: “I thank Sahu for all the support. I hope to do a full-fledged commercial film with him in the future.”
About the sequel to Rakshasudu, he responded, “Anupama and I worked on Rakshasudu, and people keep asking about Rakshasudu 2. But we’ve made an even better film now, that is Kishkindhapuri. After this, people will be asking about Kishkindhapuri 2.”
The event was also attended by Anil Ravipudi, Buchi Babu Sana, and Sushmita Konidela.
